One of Cincinnati's largest organizations is the new owner of a closed movie theater and restaurant in Blue Ash.
Matthew 25: Ministries purchased the 4780 Cornell Road property on Sept. 2, according to the Hamilton County Auditor. The former ACX theater is listed at a price of $8.9 million and it's less than a ten-minute walk from Matthew 25's campus on Kenwood Road.
Entities under the names of American Lending Center LLC and American Lending Center Holdings Inc. have owned the 37,891 square foot property since 2023.
The Enquirer sent an email to Matthew 25: Ministries’ Communications Director Michelle Jones to ask what the Cincinnati not-for-profit organization paid for the property and what plans it has in store but did not immediately get a response.
In May 2024, ACX Cinemas opened the ACX Cinema 7+ theater including a restaurant on Cornell Road. The theater has since closed.
