Cincinnati Bengals receiver Tee Higgins was injured during the third quarter of the team's NFL Week 7 game against the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium.
Higgins was observed on the sideline by team medical personnel after taking a huge hit from Ravens defensive back Kyle Hamilton after a catch during the Bengals' second drive early in the second half.
Before the bye week, Higgins was dealing with an adductor injury he suffered in a Week 4 loss to Jacksonville.
Against the Jaguars, Higgins got up slowly after a 19-yard catch near the sideline from quarterback Joe Burrow. Higgins got up, but then took a knee and required attention from team medical personnel.
Higgins returned to the game later in the drive, and made a catch on his first play back
in the game. He was not on the field for the Bengals' final drive of the game.
Higgins had a game-high 10 catches for 140 receiving yards before the injury. He added a 17-yard catch, giving him a total of 157 receiving yards, second only to the 194-yard game he had against Baltimore in 2021.
Higgins made a remarkable touchdown catch from quarterback Joe Burrow late in the second quarter of the team's Week 3 loss to Pittsburgh at Acrisure Stadium. It was among the most impressive NFL catches by Higgins.
In March 2025, Higgins agreed to a four-year contract extension with the team. Higgins, Cincinnati's second-round pick in the 2020 NFL draft, is entering his seventh NFL season.
