The Cincinnati Bengalsinjury report featured a longer list of names than it did a day earlier, and while that's not always cause for alarm, it might be in this case.
Among the alterations to the injury report from Sept. 9 to Sept. 10 was the addition of Bengals star cornerback DJ Turner II, who wasn't listed as being injured at the start of the week but was reportedly "limited" Sept. 10 due to a hamstring issue.

Turner, now in a contract year with Cincinnati, is a critical
cog on a Bengals defense that's expected to be improved year-over-year after offseason additions via free agency, the NFL Draft and trades. Turner emerged in 2025 as one of the few bright spots on a Bengals defense that struggled throughout the season.

Another change was that edge rusher Shemar Stewart (knee) went from a full participant to begin the week to being limited on Sept. 10.
Cincinnati defensive tackles Jonathan Allen and BJ Hill both had rest days Sept. 10 while receivers Ja'Marr Chase (knee) and Tee Higgins (foot) were full participants for the second day in a row.
