Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was asked after practice Oct. 21 about Vice President JD Vance's visit.
"We did not (get to interact)," Burrow said. "He came with everybody and left with swiftness and efficiency before the end of practice, so I didn't get to (talk with him)."
"A lot of people around," Burrow continued. "That's what I love about what I do is it brings a lot of people together. And people want to take time out of their day to watch what we do, and watch what I do. Everybody in the locker room that's why we do what we do."
Burrow said he found out about Vance's visit from owner Mike Brown, on the sideline.
Vance was brought into the Bengals' locker room after attending practice. The Enquirer's Kelsey Conway shared video via
Twitter/X of Vance getting a tour.
Vance greeted several players on his way out of the facility.
Burrow jammed his left thumb while taking a huge hit during the second quarter of the team's NFL Week 5 win against Miami at Hard Rock Stadium.
The Bengals' training staff looked at Burrow on the sideline after Burrow got plowed into by multiple Dolphins while pursuing a fumble recovery. Burrow returned to the game and wore a wrap on that hand after the hit.

Burrow took a big hit that appeared to be late after throwing a pass late in the game, just before the Bengals settled for Evan McPherson's 26-yard field goal. Burrow tossed his helmet during a conversation with an official.
"We had our opportunities the last two weeks, but certainly this isn't Armageddon or anything," Burrow said after a Week 4 loss to Jacksonville. "We're still in a great spot and feel really good about our team."
With 53 seconds left in the 30-27 loss to Pittsburgh in Week 3, Burrow was sacked at the Pittsburgh 46-yard line by the Steelers' Derrick Harmon. Harmon beat Bengals offensive lineman Dalton Risner to get to Burrow.
Bengals tight ends Erick All Jr. and Tanner Hudson were adamant after the game that All recovered Burrow's fumble on that play.
Burrow was a full participant during the team's practice Sept. 23, going through his typical pre-practice routine and stretching with the team, which he did not do one week earlier as a limited participant in practice.
