Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow participated in the team stretch before practice on Sept. 17 as his team prepares to face the Houston Texans in Week 2. Burrow also threw short passes before the team stretch portion, which precludes practice and is available for media to watch.
Burrow was listed as alimited participant on the Sept. 16 injury report after not participating in the team stretch before the first practice of the week.
The seventh-year quarterback said he had back tightness and normal game-day soreness during his press conference the same day. Burrow also wanted to assuage any concern he might miss the game against the Texans saying the only way he wouldn't be playing is if he had to get surgery.
The official injury report will
be out later today where the Bengals will again update Burrow's status.
