Middletown police say they are investigating a man's recent death as a homicide.
Police officers responded to a report of a person down near Greenfield Drive and Spring Grove Lane at around 10 p.m. on Aug. 5, according to a news release.
When they arrived, officers located 22-year-old Amonte Holdbrooks on the ground with serious injuries.
Holdbrooks was taken to to Atrium Medical Center before being transferred to Miami Valley Hospital. He died as a result of his injuries, the release said.
