Former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III didn't like the Houston Texans' offensive approach without star receiver Nico Collins in their Week 2 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.
Collins missed the game because of a hamstring injury.
"The Houston Texans asking CJ Stroud to throw the ball 55 times with his #1 WR Nico Collins out of the game AND be their leading rusher with 29 yards in a game that was within 1 score up until 4 mins left in the 3rd Quarter is coaching malpractice," Griffin tweeted. "55 pass plays to 18 runs is WILD."
Stroud completed 30 of his 55 attempts for 353 passing yards. Tight end Dalton Schultz had 12 catches for 140 yards.
Jaylin Noel had the second-most rushing yards for the Texans with 13, on one carry.

School standout David Montgomery had six carries for 10 rushing yards; Woody Marks had eight carries for eight rushing yards.
Stroud, a former Ohio State Buckeyes standout, was selected by the Texans second overall in the 2023 NFL Draft.
As a rookie, he led the Texans to a division title and playoff win. He was named Offensive Rookie of the Year and earned a Pro Bowl nod.
Bengals rookie defensive end Myles Murphy, the team's first-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, joined then-teammates Trey Hendrickson and Logan Wilson in a hit on Stroud during the first quarter of the Bengals' 30-27 loss at Paycor Stadium, and appeared to make helmet-to-helmet contact with Stroud as Stroud went to the ground while attempting to throw.
In Feb. 2024, Bengals receiver Ja'Marr Chase caught a touchdown pass from Stroud during the flag football portion of the Pro Bowl Games in Orlando, and Chase celebrated by taking over for an ESPN camera operator.
