Former Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin, now an analyst on NBC's "Football Night in America," poked fun at the Bengals as he and others reviewed highlights from Cincinnati's 30-27 Week 3 loss
in Pittsburgh.
Bengals returner Ke'Shawn Williams had a costly muffed punt and fumble during the fourth quarter.
"Former Steeler Ke'Shawn Williams muffs a punt," Tomlin said on the broadcast during the highlight. "He forgets that he's not playing for them. Another error by their punt return team, giving the Steelers another shot. … All is well in western PA."
When Bengals defensive backs Dax Hill and DJ Turner collided as Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers found DK Metcalf in the end zone during the highlights, Tomlin joked that Hill and Turner reminded him of Keystone Cops.
When Tomlin spoke in Pittsburgh Sept. 25 for the Steelers' Hall of Honor ceremony, he said he wished "he could be here Sunday for this butt-kicking that we gonna put on the Cincinnati Bengals."
The Bengals acquired Williams on waivers from Pittsburgh in December 2025.
