Former Cincinnati Bengals receiver TJ Houshmandzadeh responded to remarks former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger made about errors the Bengals committed in their Week 3 loss to the Steelers.
On his "Footbahlin" podcast, Roethlisberger repeatedly referred to the Bengals as the Bungles.
Houshmandzadeh said on the "Speakeasy" podcast he co-hosts that he wanted to make a bet with Roethlisberger about which team will finish the season with a better record, and insisted that Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is better than Roethlisberger was.
"He's not wrong to a certain extent (about the Bengals' errors)," Houshmandzadeh said. "But if he feels that way. And (Ben's) got way more money than I've got. I bet him 10 grand that the Bengals have a better record than the Steelers. ... Since they're watching the show ... let me know what you want to do with that, Big Ben, okay? You want to make that bet? I'll make that bet with you: better record."

Of Bengals vs Steelers, Roethlisberger said, 'You'd think we're playing the Browns.'
"Joe Burrow (is) better than him," Houshmandzadeh added. "I mean Joe's better. He's going to be a better quarterback … at this stage of each other's career, he's better. Joe Burrow is better."
"I think Ben had one (Super Bowl championship) that the defense won for him," Houshmandzadeh continued. "You remember that? … That was all that was all defense and run game. … when he won that Super Bowl. Joe Burrow's better than Big Ben. And Ben is a Hall of Famer to me."
"I always thought Ben was really good," Houshmandzadeh said. "But yeah, Joe's better. But if he wants to make that bet though, I'm open to it. That's like five dollars to Big Ben. So let me know, bro, what you're trying to do. Ten grand (that) the Bengals finish with a better record than the Steelers."
