A night after throwing out the first pitch for the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ball Park, No. 4 seed Daniil Medvedev was ousted and threw several temper tantrums at the Cincinnati Open at the Lindner Tennis Center in Mason.

Medvedev was defeated by wild card entry Brandon Nakashima 6-7, 7-6, 6-1 in the third round in a match that lasted nearly three hours.

In doing so, he damaged a pair of advertising boards, knocked over microphones and argued with the umpire, resulting in a code violation. Nakashima was the No. 27 seed.
Medvedev is the world's No. 7 player and was gifted a Reds jersey at Wimbledonby Beemok Sports & Entertainment President and Cincinnati
Open Tournament Director Bob Moran.

Outside of the temper, how are Medvedev's baseball skills? The Enquirer's Shelby Dermer asked him earlier in the week.
"In Russia, we don't (play baseball). I have no idea if I have the coordination, balance and other stuff. I do not think I would be a good pitcher, but who knows? I can run. Maybe I could hit. You never know."
