A popular Bond Hill bakery is transforming its storefront into a commercial kitchen concept that will help other local bakers.
Davis Cookie Collection launched Davis Culinary Kitchen, a commercial rental space and entrepreneurial hub for bakers, on Oct. 19 at its flagship location, 4926 Reading Road.
According to a press release, the new concept is designed for "entrepreneurs who may have outgrown their homekitchens or need professional space without the cost of opening their own storefront."
The new space will offer:
- Commercial kitchen memberships and hourly rentals.
- Professional equipment.
- Private production space.
- Vendor and pop-up opportunities.
- Baking classes and opportunities for collaboration.
- Marketing, social media and packaging assistance.
Per the release, Davis Cookie Collectionwill continue operating from the location while focusing on catering and wholesale orders, its dessert truck and "Assortment Fridays," when customers can preorder cookies for pickup each week
on the bakery's website, according to the release.
“If the equipment and space we've built can help another entrepreneur produce more efficiently, take on larger orders and move their business forward, that's exactly the type of impact we want to have,” the press release reads.
Co-owners Christina and Miles Davis first opened the Bond Hill storefront in October 2020 after operating at Findlay Market. The husband-and-wife duo launched a frozen cookie dough line in 2023, now sold at four Kroger locations: Oakley, Colerain Township, Liberty Township and West Chester Township.
The bakery won bronze in the dessert category at the 2025 Best of Taste of Cincinnati food truck competition. It also received a CinGourmand distinctionat this year's festival. The distinction highlights festival dishes that judges consider must-try items.
Among the bakery's popular items are its blue Oreo-stuffed monster cookie and Reese's-stuffed chocolate chip cookie, which Mayor Aftab Pureval once described as "unbelievable." The bakery's signature banana pudding cookie is also sold at two Richie's Chicken and Soul locations, in Colerain and Avondale.
