Graeter's and Skyline aren't the only two hometown companies that teamed up to create a savory-inspired ice cream.
United Dairy Farmers and snack company Grippo Foods Inc. have partnered to create a limited-time Homemade Brand ice cream flavor, UDF said in a release on Tuesday, Aug. 11.
The flavor, called Fun Food Crunch, is a buttered-popcorn-flavored ice cream mixed with a barbecue-spice-infused caramel swirl and chocolate pretzel pieces, the release reads.

Fun Food Crunch is inspired by Grippo's heritage as the original "Fun Food Company," according to the release.
"Grippo's has always believed food should be fun, and that's exactly what this collaboration is all about," said John Dourson, Vice President of Sales for Grippo Foods Inc., in the
statement.
Fun Food Crunch hits stores on Sunday, Aug. 16. The flavor will be available for a limited time in a 16-ounce pint at Cincinnati-area Kroger stores and all UDF retail locations, while supplies last.
