MASON − After two weather-delayed days of qualifying, thefirst roundof the Cincinnati Open is slated to begin on Thursday, Aug. 13 at the Lindner Family Tennis Center.
Qualifying rounds on Wednesday, Aug. 12 were pushed back by several delays
as a steady rain washed over Mason. The tournament canceled the session to the fans but matches eventually began at night while the grounds remained closed to the public.There are still a few qualifying matches that were pushed to Thursday, but the majority of the 28 matches on tap come from the main draw. Former top 10 player Jack Draper opens on Center Court against Spain's Martin Landaluce.
