CBS play-by-play announcer Jim Nantz was critical of the Cincinnati Bengals' first-half effort late in the second quarter of the NFL Week 7 game against the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium.
"Cincinnati looks like they're still on their bye week up to this point," Nantz said during the broadcast, as the Bengals trailed the Ravens, 10-0. "Higgins and Chase saying, 'We've barely been out there today.'"
"And Zac Taylor wasted a timeout (to argue with officials)," analyst JJ Watt added. "That halftime locker room for Cincinnati is going to be a lot of conversation."
Watt was critical of a second-quarter call by officials against Bengals defensive lineman Boye Mafe. Mafe was penalized for a personal foul when he appeared to get pushed into a Ravens'
offensive lineman.

"This is really interesting: Mafe gets cut by Derrick Henry," Watt said. "What's he supposed to do to avoid that? He got cut, and he's falling down."
