Several hundred people are reporting problems with the music and podcast streaming service on July 27, according to Downdetector, which tracks online outages based on user reports. According to the website, 43% of reports are having issues with the Spotify app, 22% report problems with the website, and another 20% are having trouble with audio streaming.
According to comments on Downdetector, users are seeing an error message of "Spotify can't play this right now," and songs keep skipping. Reports first spiked at about 5 a.m. ET and quickly fell off, but started climbing again at around 6:30 a.m.

According to Spotify's ongoing issues page, the streaming service is aware
of issues that the web player and desktop app aren't loading and are returning a "Something went wrong" or "Page not available" error message in the Asia region on July 27. A fix has been deployed.
