Hilary Duff is making one thing clear: She enjoyed Skyline Chili.
Duff performed for a sold-out crowd at Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati on July 28, and she downed several bites of Skyline Chili during her show to ingratiate herself with the local crowd.
“That’s good. You should be famous for that,” she said while also correctly tasting the cinnamon and warm spices.
Considering Cincinnati-style chili is a polarizing dish (it's not like the chili others around the country are used to), some social media users questioned if Duff really did enjoy her first taste of the Queen City delicacy. Especially since whoever hooked her up with the chili had her scarfing down melted cheese and soggy oyster crackers, rather than putting it atop a bed of noodles.
"She’s firing someone. That was not pleasant for her," one Instagram user wrote on The Enquirer's post.
"It was! I loved it," Duff replied.
