Former Cincinnati Reds great Joey Votto shared his opinion about National Baseball Hall of Famer and Reds analyst Barry Larkin's rant that followed a 9-1 loss in the team's series finale against the Chicago Cubs, their final game of the season at Great American Ball Park.

"I think these last three weeks of baseball playing against some of the better teams that are going to be going to the postseason really illustrate how far we are behind at this big-league level," Larkin said during the broadcast. "Change has to happen. This city deserves better than that, and I know every player down there feels that. But something has to give. We have to get better because we are so, so far behind."
During a June Reds.TV
broadcast, Larkin insisted that Cincinnati needs and deserves another championship.
Votto appeared Sept. 21 on MLB Network's "MLB Now," and had a spirited discussion with former Chicago Cubs manager Joe Maddon.
