What is the story about?
Ohio schools are not failing; Ohio parents are.
Closing schools won’t solve any problems. Unless parents are held accountable for getting their children to school, nothing will change.
In the past, charter schools have not been held to the same standards as public schools. Private schools are successful because parents pay for their children to attend and care about their children's success.
Put the blame where it belongs. Closing public schools is not the solution.
