CHICAGO – The start of the Cincinnati Reds' series finale against the Chicago Cubs has been delayed by rain at Wrigley Field, Sunday (Aug. 30).

The Cubs estimated the game would start about 25 minutes late, at 7:45 p.m. ET.

The game, which was moved from an original afternoon start because of TV broadcast considerations, had been scheduled to start at 7:20 p.m. ET.

The start of the Cincinnati Reds-Chicago Cubs game at Wrigley Field on Sunday, Aug. 30, was delayed by rain.

The Reds and Cubs split the first two games of the series, with Reds' Rookie of the Year favorite hitting home runs in each game, giving him 30 for the season (along with 104 RBIs) heading into the final two games of August.

The Cubs' MVP candidate, Pete Crow-Armstrong, hit three home runs in the middle game of the series, a 17-5 Cubs rout of the Reds.
