The last day for early voting for the upcoming August election is approaching.
Voters in Memphis and Shelby County have been able to cast their ballots early since July 17.
Here is everything you need to know about early voting for the August election before it wraps up.
When is the last day for early voting?
Memphians have been able to vote early since July 17. The last day for early voting for the August election will be Aug. 1.
How do I vote early?
People who choose to vote during the early voting period can vote at any early voting site within the county where they are registered to vote.
To vote early, visit an early voting location and make sure to have your state-issued ID card.
Where can I vote early in Shelby County?
Early voting locations are open six days a week. All locations are closed on Sunday.
The following locations will host early
voting Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., according to a list provided by the Shelby County Election Commission.

The Shelby County Election Commission, the James Meredith Building at 157 Poplar Ave., will host early voting Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
All early voting locations will be open on Aug. 1 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Check your voter registration
The Tennessee Secretary of State's website allows you to see if your voter registration is still active.
The website will ask you to fill out your county of residence, full name and date of birth.
