2026 All Metro Boys Golfer of the Year
Brantley Moore
Memphis University School | Sr.
Memphis University School’s Brantley Moore retains the crown of the Memphis area’s top boys golfer.
He won the award in 2025 and came back in 2026 with an even more impressive resume. Moore shot 8-under par during both days of the TSSAA Division II-AA boys state championship tournament at Sevierville Golf Club to win his second consecutive individual state title.
Moore’s outing, coupled with the play of MUS teammates Charles Snider and Drew Knighton, propelled the Owls to 11-under par as a team to win the state championship.
“Everybody out there could have done it,” Moore said. “The whole team is full of studs. We push each other,
that’s what MUS golfers do. We’ll go out and play like four teams a week with each other just to build team chemistry. We’re the best competition we can find in the city.”
Moore won the 2025 All-Metro boys golfer of the year award after shooting 4-under in last year's state tournament. He will join the Furman golf program next year.
“I always wanted to play college golf,” Moore said. “I like the team aspect when you’re not just playing for yourself, but you also have to show up for your team.”

“I was just so happy for these guys,” Campbell said regarding the seniors on MUS. “They’ve come close the previous two years and to finally get them over the hump and have them leave high school golf with a state championship was something I really wanted for them.”
Girls Golfer of the Year
Mathile Walker
Evangelical Christian School | Jr.
According to ECS golf coach Beth Miller, Mathile Walker has improved rapidly each year, not just as a golfer but with her mindset.
“I’ve seen her grow and mature. I’ve known her since she was in sixth grade. She comes into golf tournaments more prepared,” Miller said. “She really changed her focus to continuing and not giving up and finishing strong.”
Despite starting the 2026 Division II-A state championship tournament 5-over through 11 holes on the first day, Walker shot 1-under over the final seven holes. Her 7-over score for the tournament propelled her to the top of the individual leaderboard to win her first state championship.
“I’m grateful to see the hard work that I put in during the season and before the season pay off,” Walker said. “I’m really grateful for everybody that helped me, my swing coach, my parents and all my teachers.”
Walker became the first golfer in ECS history to win an individual state title and led ECS to a second-place finish at the state championship tournament.
