The Memphis Grizzlies are partnering with DAZN to stream their local games.
This will give fans a new way to watch the team as the NBA’s traditional regional sports network model continues to change.
DAZN, a sports-focused streaming service, will become the Grizzlies’ local streaming partner beginning with the 2026-27 season. The partnership comes after Main Street Sports Group, which operated FanDuel Sports Network, ceased operations and left the Grizzlies without a local television partner.
The Grizzlies will offer a team-specific subscription through the DAZN app. Fans can purchase a full-season pass for $119.99 or a monthly subscription for $19.99.
The price of a season pass will decrease as the season progresses, giving fans who join later
in the season a lower cost.
DAZN also will offer a seven-day free trial at the beginning of the season.
Another major change for Grizzlies fans will come through free television.
The Grizzlies will have 15 games available for free over the air during the season, the most free-to-air games in franchise history. Those games will not require a DAZN subscription. The local TV partner is expected to be announced at a later date.
Grizzlies preseason games also will be available for free.
The Grizzlies’ local broadcast team of Pete Pranica, Brevin Knight and Rob Fischer will continue calling games and remaining part of the team’s broadcast coverage.
DAZN will carry additional Grizzlies-related content, including condensed games and programming from Grind City Media, and select Memphis Hustle G League games.
The partnership extends beyond basketball. DAZN plans to work with the Grizzlies to bring a professional boxing event to Memphis in 2027.
Season-ticket holders in the Grizzlies’ MVP program will receive DAZN subscriptions at no additional cost.
There is an incentive for fans who purchase a season pass early. Those who get one before Nov. 1 will receive two tickets to a Grizzlies game.
DAZN will offer multiple subscription options. Its standard season pass will allow fans to stream Grizzlies games simultaneously on two devices, while an ultimate season pass will allow streaming on up to five devices.
The Grizzlies are one of five NBA teams — joining the Minnesota Timberwolves, Cleveland Cavaliers, Indiana Pacers and San Antonio Spurs — using DAZN as a local streaming partner.
DAZN also has digital partnerships with the Orlando Magic, New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets.
The move reflects the changing ways fans consume sports. According to a study conducted by Parks Associates and InterDigital, 70% of sports viewers use streaming services, including 40% watching only via streaming.
The Grizzlies’ local broadcast footprint will cover the same seven states and areas in the Mid-South. Fans outside that footprint will continue to need NBA League Pass to watch Grizzlies games.
