Satellite Music Hall will open its doors to Memphis music fans for a special “sneak peek” of the Crosstown-area venue on Sept. 2.
Operated by the entertainment giant Live Nation — in partnership with Crosstown Concourse — Satellite Music Hall is located at 1291 Autumn Ave. The 35,000-square-foot indoor venue will have a 1,300-person capacity and will launch in early September.
Memphians will be able to get an early look Satellite ahead of its official opening, which will see the venue formally kick things off Sept. 4-5 with shows by The Band Camino.
According to an announcement from Satellite Music Hall, the public can tour the venue, enjoy live performances
and purchase food and beverages from 6-9 p.m. Sept. 2. Music for the preview event be provided by the Stax Music Academy’s 910 Band and 926 Band and Stax Alumni Jazz Group. There will also be sets from DJ NYCELYFE and DJ Bizzle Bluebland.
Admission to the event is $10. Tickets are available now at Ticketmaster. All proceeds will benefit the Stax Music Academy.
In May, Satellite Music Hall announced its first slate of acts, as part of its grand opening, and has since continued to add concerts. The venue currently has nearly 30 shows set for the balance of 2026, with more being added regularly.
