Grammy-nominated Memphis rapper GloRilla is expanding her business profile with the launch of GloVerse. The new technology platform is “designed to modernize the beauty industry by connecting consumers with trusted, culturally fluent beauty professionals through an intelligent, on-demand marketplace.”
Founded by Frayser area native GloRilla — born Gloria Woods — GloVerse is being billed as “your home for on demand glam.” Developed in partnership with a company called OUT.LI.ER, which describes itself as a “brand architecture, venture strategy, and growth consultancy,” the platform looks to leverage GloRilla’s evolution “from global recording artist to entrepreneur and founder.”
According to a press release announcing GloVerse, the effort was inspired
by GloRilla’s “own experiences while touring, filming, traveling, and preparing for performances” as the rapper “repeatedly encountered a challenge familiar to millions: finding trusted beauty professionals quickly, reliably, and in unfamiliar cities.”
“What began as a personal frustration became the foundation for a broader vision — to build a platform that serves both consumers and the independent beauty professionals powering one of the world's largest industries,” noted the release.
In a statement GloRilla added that the GloVerse was “built from real life."
"I've been in situations where finding the right glam team wasn't easy, even with all the resources around me," said GloRilla, who last week made a surprise appearance at Cordova High School for homecoming and presented a $25,000 donation. “I realized this wasn't just my experience — it was something people everywhere deal with every day. I wanted to build something that creates real opportunities for beauty professionals while making it easier for everyone to find trusted talent."
Launched this past week in beta form and expected to be fully operational as an app by the end of 2026, GloVerse will “enable consumers to discover, book, and connect with verified beauty professionals across services including hair, makeup, nails, skincare, barbering, braiding, esthetics, and more.”
Further plans for company as it moves into 2027 include “building a broader ecosystem designed to support independent beauty entrepreneurs, small business owners and traveling professionals with a number of emerging initiatives.”
Georgii Speakman, founder and CEO of OUT.LI.ER, noted that the “vision is to create a platform where independent beauty professionals can build stronger businesses, consumers can confidently discover trusted talent, and creators, and communities can connect in entirely new ways."

Since her musical breakthrough in 2022, GloRilla has steadily built her brand, creating successful partnerships with major companies including Fenty, Adidas Originals, Shein, Reese’s Puffs, True Religion, and Checkers and Rally’s, among others.
