Voting is now open for The CA's Memphis area high school boys athlete of the week from Sept. 14-19. The poll closes Sept. 24 at 4 p.m.
Here are the nominees:
Brooks Wright, Central: Wright was 9-of-14 passing for 166 yards and two touchdowns in a 49-17 victory over Brighton.
Lucas Barksdale, Collierville: Barksdale caught three passes for 114 yards and three touchdowns in a 55-7 victory over Arlington.
Kaysen Wiggins, Lewisburg: Wiggins had 183 rushing yards, 173 passing yards and scored five touchdowns in a 63-35 loss to Lafayette.
Qua Bell, Munford: Bell had 10 tackles, including two for loss, in a 38-14 win against Haywood. Offensively, he added 60 rushing yards.
Hudson Jacks, MUS: Jacks had nine solo tackles and two assists in a 46-41 loss to Father Ryan.
