Local anchor and meteorologist Chelsea Chandler is stepping back into the Memphis TV market.
On Aug. 3, WREG announced Chandler will be joining the station's Channel 3 News Teamas an anchor and meteorologist for the "Daybreak" program.
The news comes nearly a month after Chandler exited her role with Fox13 Memphis. On July 9, Chandler announced, via social media, she would be leaving the station andstepping away to prioritize herself after a difficult year.
Chandler joined Fox13 in 2022 and was named an anchor in April 2025.

In the post, Chandler said her family has "a lot on our plate" in the future — her dad is beginning cancer treatment and her dog is about to undergo
surgery — but that she plans to remain in Memphis.
"I have some exciting plans for the future that I can’t wait to share when the time is right," Chandler wrote in the post.
Chandler has served in the Memphis market for several years now. Before her time with Fox13 and her recent appointment with WREG, she was with ABC 24 and Fox 16 in Memphis, along with a previous stint with WXIA-TV in Atlanta, Georgia.
