Voting is now open for The CA's Memphis area high school boys athlete of the week from Sept. 21-26. The poll closes Oct. 1 at 4 p.m.

Here are the nominees:

Nasir Hill, Brighton: Hill had 324 all-purpose yards and four touchdowns (one rush, one punt return and two kickoff returns) in a 44-6 victory over Kingsbury.

Trintin Martin, Center Hill: Martin ran the ball 38 times for 309 yards and three touchdowns in a 48-28 victory over Lewisburg.

Brenden Chambers, Collierville: Chambers had two interceptions, including one returned 32 yards for a touchdown in a 49-14 win against Bartlett.

McGregory, Lake Cormorant: McGregory had three interceptions, including two returned for touchdowns (65 and 72 yards) in a 20-0 win against Southaven.

Akeem Hunt, MASE: Hunt had 14 tackles, including four for loss, and a sack in a 14-6 victory over Mitchell.

Charles Snider, MUS: Snider shot 67 to win medalist honors for the Owls (277) in the TSSAA Division 2-AA West Regional Tournament at Audubon.
