Early voting results are in for the Republican and Democratic primary school board races across six suburbs in Shelby County.
In the only contested school board race in Collierville, Republican Michael Ebbs has taken the lead with 2,448 votes, or 66.49% of the vote, for Position 2 on the Collierville school board. Republican challenger Rachel Davis lingers behind with 1,230 votes, or 33.41% of the vote.
Democrat James Morrison has drawn 99.35%, or 1,687 votes, running unopposed in the Democratic primary for the seat. The Republican winner will face Morrison in the November General Election.
