As the summer winds down and fall begins, outdoor venues in Memphis are set to put on a handful of high-profile concerts before the temperatures drop.
From Grind City Amp in Uptown to Overton Park Shell in Midtown, BankPlus Amphitheater in Southaven to Radians Amphitheater in East Memphis and beyond, there will be plenty of shows to see over the coming weeks.
Here is a look at some outdoor concerts worth checking out in the Memphis area.
Patti LaBelle and Kool & the Gang: Sept. 18, Radians Amphitheater
One of the true queens of R&B, Patti LaBelle will join forces with “Celebration” hitmakers Kool & the Gang for a big double bill that will close out the Memphis Botanic Garden’s Live at the Garden concert series for 2026. The LaBelle/Kool & the Gang show is set for Sept. 18 at Radians Amphitheater. Tickets: $77

Gonerfest: Sept. 24-27, WISEACRE Brewing and Overton Park Shell
The annual Gonerfest — the multiday music festival staged by Cooper-Young-based retailer Goner Records — will take place at the WISEACRE Brewing OG location on Broad Avenue from Sept. 24-26, with a finale at the Overton Park Shell on Sept. 27. Promising “four days of relentless rocking with over 30 bands from across the United States and all over the globe,” the roster of confirmed acts is led by Dead Moon's legendary bassist Toody Cole, Chicago indie rockers Horsegirl, UK garage band Lotts, and the international punk rock of Mexico City's Carrion Kids. Also performing will be a pair of cosmic country acts, Indiana’s Ryan Davis & The Roadhouse Band and Western Massachusetts' Animal Piss, It's Everywhere. Others set to appear include British rockers Powerplant and Memphis' own Ibex Clone. Gonerfest will conclude with a free show at the Overton Park Shell featuring performances by Gwenifer Raymond, Jack Oblivian, Cloudland Canyon and a headlining set by Man or Astroman? Indigo Girls: Sept. 29, Overton Park Shell
Grammy-winning folk duo the Indigo Girls and pop hitmaker Linda Perry of 4 Non Blondes will headline a show at the Overton Park Shell. The concert — part of the venue’s ticketed Shell Yeah! Benefit Series — will take place Sept. 29, capping a series of events celebrating the Shell’s 90th anniversary. Tickets for that show are $42 in advance or $50 day of show. The Avett Brothers with Drive-By Truckers: Oct. 1, Grind City Amp
The recently opened Grind City Amp will host a double bill to kick off October, as folk-pop stars and four-time Grammy nominees The Avett Brothers headline a show at the Uptown Memphis venue. Undertale: The Determination Symphony: Oct. 2, Grind City Amp
Also in early October, Grind City Amp will host Undertale: The Determination Symphony. The concert features fan-favorite music from the popular video game, newly arranged and performed live by a 25-piece orchestra. With gameplay footage displayed on a screen above the stage, fans will become immersed in the world of Undertale, experiencing its story and music like never before. Tickets: $104-$149. Mempho Music Festival: Oct. 9-11, Radians Amphitheater
The ninth edition of the Mempho Music Festival will take place Oct. 9-11 at the Memphis Botanic Garden’s Radians Amphitheater. Pretty Lights will headline Oct. 9, while Mempho perennials Widespread Panic will return to the fest to headline on both Oct. 10 and 11. Other notable artists set to appear include Austin alternative band Spoon, blues-rocker Gary Clark Jr., reggae artist Ziggy Marley and instrumental outfit STS9, while Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers guitarist Mike Campbell will bring his band The Dirty Knobs to perform. Others set to appear on the festival’s three stages include Grammy-winning bassist and Memphis native MonoNeon, Maggie Rose, Dumpstaphunk, Sierra Hull, Randall Bramblett Band, plus a special guest appearance by Rolling Stones/Allman Brothers Band keyboardist Chuck Leavell. Three-day General Admission passes are $269, three-day GA+ passes are $399, three-day VIP passes cost $859 and three-day Platinum passes run $2,200. Hayley Williams: Oct. 12, BankPlus Amphitheater
Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams will play a solo show at BankPlus Amphitheater at Snowden Grove this fall. Last year, the multiple Grammy-winning artist released her third solo album, “Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party." The singer will bring her current tour, "The Hayley Williams Show," to the Southaven venue as part of a bill that will also feature performances by Magdalena Bay and Rico Nasty. Tickets: $81-$92. KIX in the Sip featuring Rodney Atkins: Oct. 15, BankPlus Amphitheater
Memphis country station KIX 106 is bringing free music to the BankPlus Amphitheater in October. The station’s “KIX in the Sip” event for 2026 will feature veteran country hitmaker Rodney Atkins ("Watching You,” "If You're Going Through Hell") who will perform at the Southaven venue on Oct. 15. Ole 60 with Arcy Drive and Garret Elias: Oct. 24, Grind City Amp
Fast-rising Kentucky country band Ole 60 will headline a show at Grind City Amp on Oct. 24. The concert will also feature performances by hard-touring New York combo Arcy Drive and Brooklyn alt-rockers Garret Elias. Tickets: $63. Go to Grindcityamp.com.
Dru Hill with Ginuwine, Next and Troop: Oct. 24, BankPlus Amphitheater
It will be a big-time bill featuring old school R&B favorites as Dru Hill headlines at the Bank Plus Amphitheater. Ginuwine, Next and Troop will join Dru Hill for an evening that will see them playing their various hits, including "In My Bed," "Pony," "Too Close" and "All I Do Is Think of You.” The multi-act show will take place Oct. 24 and will close out the Snowden Grove venue’s summer/fall concert season.
