Voting is now open for The Commercial Appeal's Memphis area high school girls athlete of the week from Aug. 31-Sept. 5. The poll closes Sept. 10 at 4 p.m.
Nominees are:
Zoey Blaszczyk, Collierville: Blaszczyk shot 79 to win medalist honors in the Dragon Invitational at Glen Eagle.
Piper Joachim, ECS: Joachim had 13 kills and 12 digs in a 25-21, 25-15, 25-21 victory over St. Benedict.
Allie Calicutt, Hutchison: Callicutt scored two goals in a 3-0 victory over St. Agnes.
Bebe Stokes, Lausanne: Stokes had 16 kills in a 25-18, 25-12, 25-22 victory over Tipton Rosemark Academy.
Morgan Miller, St. Benedict: Miller had 22 kills in a 25-18, 19-25, 25-20, 25-22 victory
over Fayette Academy.
Elle Weathersby, St. George’s: Weathersby had five goals and an assist in a 9-0 victory over St. Benedict.
