Fresh off a win on the road at UNLV that coach Charles Huff called a "national statement," Memphis football is readying for its home opener.
The Tigers (1-0) will face Arkansas State on Sept. 5 (6 p.m. CT, ESPN+) at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium. It'll be the debut of the renovated stadium, which has undergone a $226.5 million renovation the past two years.
Memphis has plenty of momentum after the win over the Rebels, but the Red Wolves will be highly motivated heading in. It's also a key game for the Tigers ahead of another one on the road against Boise State on Sept. 12.
