This weekend is expected to bring warm days, cooler nights and a slight chance of rain on the back end.
Memphians can expect temps in the mid-90s during the day and slightly cooler evenings in the 70s, according to a forecast released by the National Weather Service in Memphis. That will follow several days of light showers and slightly more mild temperatures this week.
Here's the weekend weather forecast from the NWS in Memphis.
Friday weather
Aug. 21 is expected to be sunny with highs in the lower 90s and north winds from 5 to 10 mph.
Friday evening should be mostly clear with lows in the lower 70s.
Saturday weather
Aug. 22 will be sunny with highs in the mid-90s.
Saturday night should be mostly clear with lows in the lower 70s.
Sunday weather
Aug. 23 is expected to be mostly sunny with highs
in the mid-90s.
Sunday night should be mostly clear with a slight chance of showers after midnight. Lows will remain in the lower 70s and there's a 20% chance of rain.
Monday weather
Aug. 24 will be mostly sunny with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the morning. Highs will be in the lower 90s and there's a 20% chance of rain.
Monday night should be mostly clear with a slight chance of showers after midnight and lows in the mid-70s. Again, there's a 20% chance of rain.
