The Memphis Grizzlies will play one final game before the regular season starts.
The Grizzlies close out the preseason against the Charlotte Hornets on Oct. 16 (7 p.m. CT, DAZN-MEM) at FedExForum.
Memphis has won two of its first three preseason games. The Grizzlies last played on Oct. 9 against the Chicago Bulls.
The Grizzlies' preseason finale is expected to essentially serve as the team's dress rehearsal ahead of the regular season opener on Oct. 21 against the Utah Jazz. Coach Tuomas Iisalo said the team will play its starters into the third quarter against Charlotte.
Grizzlies center Zach Edey has been available for the last two games. He played 10 minutes in his first preseason action, and then went up to 16 minutes against Chicago.
Since Edey
has been available, the Grizzlies have used the same starting lineup. Iisalo said Memphis has prioritized using the same lineup since it only has four preseason games.
