Trader Joe's is continuing its trend of releasing viral tote bags with a new Halloween collection.
A year and a half after the company first released a set of themed totes, Trader Joe's says it will have its Halloween totes in stores starting in September. The bags, called "Trick-or-Treat Mini Canvas Totes," will be available in multiple colors.
The Halloween tote bags were a social media sensation last year, with customers posting online soon after their launch to show off that they snagged a bag or to highlight how they personalized the totes with patches, charms and paint.
Here's when you can get them in Tennessee.
When will the Halloween mini tote bags arrive at Trader Joe's?
The company confirmed to USA TODAY by email that it plans to have its Halloween totes in stores beginning Sept. 30.

The bags will be available for a limited time, according to the Trader Joe's website and measure about 13 inches long, 11 inches tall and 6 inches deep.
Trader Joe's says the bags are "ideal for candy-collecting adventures, seasonal gifting (bags filled with treats for your boo make perfect boo bags!), quick grocery runs, or any small haul that needs a sturdy, reusable carrier."
Trader Joe's continues to add to its viral tote bag lineup
From striped pastel mini totes to Micro Totes and insulated mini totes, the Halloween mini totes are the latest addition to Trader Joe's growing lineup of collectible bags.
The compact totes have developed a devoted following among store customers and fashion-conscious shoppers. The bags first went viral in March 2024 and became so popular on social media that getting one has become increasingly difficult.
Trader Joe's told USA TODAY earlier this year that it filed a lawsuit to protect its customers from knockoff tote bags.
"We are aware that some knockoff totes are being sold online and have recently filed a lawsuit to protect our customers from being misled," the company said in an emailed statement to USA TODAY in June. The grocer said it sells only Trader Joe's products in its stores.
Trader Joe's totes have found fans abroad, with bags listed on international marketplaces, including Coupang, Depop and Karrot, as well as eBay and Mercari.
With no Trader Joe's stores abroad, resale prices have often been dramatically higher than in-store prices, sometimes exceeding $1,000.

Tennessee has only seven Trader Joe's locations, with the highest concentration in Middle Tennessee.
