After several weeks of hot weather, Memphis may see some small relief.
It should be ever-so-slightly cooler this weekend in Memphis, as highs mostly stay below 90 degrees Fahrenheit. There's also a slight to likely chance of rain nearly every day this weekend, according to a forecast released by the National Weather Service in Memphis.

Friday weather
July 31 is expected to be partly sunny with a high in the lower 90s. There's a 40% chance of rain, with a chance of showers during the day and a chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. There will be south winds around 5 mph, which will become southwest in the afternoon.
Friday night will be mostly cloudy with a chance of thunderstorms. There's a 70% chance of rain,
with a chance of showers in the evening and likely showers after midnight. It's expected to be humid with lows in the mid 70s and south winds at 5-10 mph.
Saturday weather
Aug. 1 should be mostly sunny, with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the morning and a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 80s, and there's a 30% chance of rain.
Saturday night is expected to be mostly cloudy, then partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers after midnight. There's a 20% chance of rain, and lows will be in the lower 70s.
Sunday weather
Aug. 2 is expected to be partly sunny with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms, with highs in the mid 80s. There's a 20% chance of rain.
Sunday night will be partly cloudy in the evening but will clear up. Lows will be around 70 degrees.
Monday weather
Aug. 3 will be mostly sunny with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the upper 80s, and there's a 20% chance of rain.
Monday evening is expected to be partly cloudy in the evening but will become mostly clear. Lows will be in the lower 70s.
