Several of Shelby County's municipalities have elections coming up in November, and the filing deadline just passed for candidates wanting their names on the ballots.
Here's a list of every candidate who has filed a petition to run for office with the Shelby County Election Commission and has had the required signatures verified as of Aug. 21. The qualification deadline to file a petition was Aug. 20.
