Voting is now open for The Commercial Appeal's Memphis area high school girls athlete of the week from Aug. 24-29. The poll closes Sept. 3 at 4 p.m.
Nominees are:
Allison Floyd, Briarcrest: Floyd had 37 assists and nine digs in a 25-12, 27-25, 25-20 victory over Arlington.
Greta Garrett, Brighton: Garrett had 36 assists, 12 digs and five kills in a 22-25, 17-25, 25-10, 25-21, 15-8 victory over Millington.
Kassidy Joyner, Center Hill: Joyner had 40 assists, seven digs and two aces in a 25-21, 21-25, 23-25, 25-15, 15-12 victory over Olive Branch.
Sharray Morgan, DeSoto Central: Morgan had 16 kills in a 25-22, 25-21, 25-19 victory over Hernando.
Kinsley Stevens,
Lake Cormorant: Stevens had 18 digs, 12 kills and eight aces in a 18-25, 25-6, 25-14, 25-19 victory over Grenada.
Julia Hulbert, St. Mary’s: Hulbert scored two goals in a 5-1 victory over Trinity Christian Academy.
