Bearista craze
As part of the holiday merchandise and treat lineup in 2025, Starbucks released a 20 oz. cup shaped like a teddy bear wearing a Starbucks stocking cap. The cup sold out almost immediately and was listed on eBay for over $1,000shortly after its Nov. 6 release.
"The excitement for our merchandise exceeded even our biggest expectations," Starbucks told People in a Nov. 6 statement. "Despite shipping more Bearista cups to coffeehouses than almost any other merchandise item this holiday season, the Bearista cup and some other items sold out fast."
In honor of the FIFA World Cup, which took place in Canada, Mexico and the United States this past summer, Starbucks released another version of the cup with a soccer-themed cap in June.
