TheLos Angeles Dodgers are four wins away from another National League pennant and a chance to make history.
The two-time defending World Series champions will face the Milwaukee Brewers in the 2026 National League Championship Series beginning Sunday, Oct. 11. The matchup pits MLB's two winningest teams from the regular season against one another, with Milwaukee earning home-field advantage after finishing with 103 wins and the Dodgers close behind with more than 100 victories.
The stakes are especially high for Los Angeles. No team has won three consecutive World Series titles since the New York Yankees captured five straight from 1949-53, giving the Dodgers an opportunity to complete one of the most remarkable championship runs in modern baseball.
Milwaukee, meanwhile, is seeking revenge after Los Angeles swept it in last year's NLCS. The Brewers won four of seven regular-season meetings against the Dodgers in 2026 and advanced by eliminating the San Diego Padres in the NLDS, while Los Angeles dispatched the Atlanta Braves.

Three Dodgers players to watch
Shohei Ohtani
No one is more important than Ohtani, whose power-speed combination can change a game with a single swing or stolen base. The Brewers' pitching staff will have little margin for error whenever the former MVP steps into the batter's box.
Mookie Betts
Betts remains one of baseball's most complete players and has repeatedly delivered in October. His ability to get on base, drive the ball, and provide elite defense makes him a key piece of Los Angeles' championship hopes.
Freddie Freeman
Few hitters are more dangerous in postseason situations than Freeman. The veteran first baseman provides the Dodgers with a steady middle-of-the-order presence and has a long track record of delivering in big moments.
Three Brewers players to watch
Jackson Chourio
One of baseball's brightest young stars, Chourio brings power, speed, and game-changing athleticism. The Dodgers' pitching staff will need to keep him off the bases.
William Contreras
Contreras anchors Milwaukee's lineup and can carry the offense for stretches. His power and run production make him one of the Brewers' most important bats.
Jacob Misiorowski
The flamethrowing right-hander gives Milwaukee a legitimate ace who can shut down any lineup. His dominant regular season made him one of the biggest reasons the Brewers finished with baseball's best record.
