With a multistate Cyclospora outbreak linked to recalled lettuce products making headlines, Californians may be wondering what other items have recently been recalled.
Although Taylor Fresh Foods voluntarily recalled iceberg lettuce imported from central Mexico due to potential cyclospora contamination, California was not among the 27 states that received the affected products.
Several other separate recalled products, however, may have reached store shelves in California, including children's food pouches, rice balls and a dietary supplement.
Here's a look at foods and consumer products recalled in July that could affect Californians.
Pouches from Pumpkin Tree Peter Rabbit Organics
PT Organics Limited is voluntarily recalling Pumpkin Tree Peter Rabbit Organics Banana and Strawberry 4-ounce pouches
because of an internal packaging defect that may lead to "the presence of a strand of soft, food-grade plastic in the finished product," according to the FDA.
The product was sold at Kroger, Meijer, and Target stores nationwide between March 6 and Jul 13.
To identify the recalled pouches, you can look for the following codes, which are stamped in black in on the back of the pouch:
- Barcode: 8 15367 01078 0
- Lane number – identified by the number ‘4’ printed on the rear right-hand side seam
- Best-Before-Date (BBD) of 01/19/2027, 01/20/2027, 03/17/2027, 03/18/2027, 05/14/2027, or 05/15/2027.
OLA-OLA POUNDED YAM
Fayus Inc., operating under the name Yusol International Foods, is recalling its OLA-OLA POUNDED YAM, which is sold in sizes of 2, 4, 5, and 10 pounds, because the products had an undeclared milk allergen for sodium caseinate, a milk derivative.
The products were distributed to multiple states, including California, between December 2025 and May 2026.
The recalled products are packaged in a clear plastic bag, with an expiration between November 2028 and May 2029, according to the California Department of Public Health.
Halibut and flounder sashimi recall
EUNHA FISHERIES CO., LTD., is recalling certain Sliced Korean Halibut and Flounder Sashimi products because the soy sauce and vinegar red pepper paste packets included contain wheat, soy, and sesame that were not noted in English on the individual packets, the FDA said.
"Although the allergens were declared on the outer package, they were not identified on the individual condiment packets," according to the FDA.

Khong Guan rice balls
Khong Guan Corporation is recalling certain lots of "Glutinous Rice Balls with Black Sesame Filling” and “Black & White Glutinous Rice Balls with Black Sesame Filling” because they may contain undeclared peanuts, according to the FDA.
Look for the following details to identify recalled rice balls:

- Date Codes (“Use By” on the back panel): 9/22/2027 and 10/19/2027
- Size/Packaging: 14.1 oz flexible plastic bag

Dietary Supplement Vitamin A
Deal Supplement is recalling its Dietary Supplement Vitamin A with Coconut Oil because it contains levels of Vitamin A that are too high per serving, according to the CDPH.
The supplement was sold as a pack of 500 soft gels in multiple states, including California, and online, with expiration dates of April 2027, July 2027, and February 2028.
The affected lot numbers are:

- ODS394A
