Zac Brown Band, Train return to Coachella Valley
The Zac Brown Band and Train are no strangers to the desert.
The country group headlined the Indio Stagecoach country music festival in 2013, alongside Toby Keith and Lady A (then-Lady Antebellum). Led by frontman Zac Brown, the band has sold more than 11 million albums, amassed over 11 billion streams and produced 16 No. 1 radio singles, according to a press release, including fan favorites such as "Chicken Fried," "Toes," "Colder Weather" and "Knee Deep." They will hit the American Express stage after the second round on Jan. 22, 2027.
Similarly, Train, led by frontman Pat Monahan, has performed in the Coachella Valley numerous times, and just a few years ago at the American Express. Despite being met with drizzling rain and cooler weather when they took the stage in 2024, the group kept the energy high as they sang hits such as "Hey, Soul Sister," Drops of Jupiter" and covers of other iconic songs.

The band will perform on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2027, following the third round of play and the 54-hole cut.
"Zac Brown Band and Train are iconic acts whose music has connected with millions of fans across generations," Pat McCabe, tournament director of The American Express, said in a statement. "We’re thrilled to welcome them to PGA WEST and look forward to creating an unforgettable week of world-class golf, live music and entertainment for our fans in the Coachella Valley."
