All but one Coachella Valley restaurant passed their Riverside County health inspections this week, according to reports.
CIE Sichuan Cuisine in Indio scored a "B" grade on its most recent inspection due to a number of violations, including improper chlorine concentration in the dishwasher, issues with food separation and others. The facility will be reinspected by inspectors in the coming days.
Here are the restaurants that were inspected in the Coachella Valley Sept. 18 through 24:
'B' grades
CIE Sichuan Cuisine, 45-682 Towne St., Indio
- Inspection conducted Sept. 24
- Major violation: Dishwasher not dispensing appropriate concentration of chlorine
- Minor violations: Food manager card expired; empty soap dispensers at various sinks; lack of food separation and possible contamination (several food items uncovered throughout the facility; cutting board stored on a trash can); and others
- "B" card posted and a reinspection date has been set
'A' grades
An “A” grade, or a score of 90 to 100 points, means a restaurant passed an inspection and met minimum health standards.
