The Airport Fire was reported around 10 p.m. in the 86-100 block of Airport Boulevard, by the Jacqueline Cochran Regional Airport. Around 2:30 a.m. on Friday, Cal Fire said the fire's forward rate of spread had stopped and that firefighters would be staying at the scene to mop-up.

Cal Fire reported no injuries from the blaze.
