A wildfire in Perris on Thursday, July 23, had burned about three acres, threatening nearby structures.
Cal Fire said it responded to the Celebration Fire at Celebration Lane and River Road around 1:45 p.m. It was burning at a moderate of spread. The agency added that 10 more engines and a helicopter were on the way to help contain the fire.
Celebration Fire evacuations
Cal Fire did not require evacuations as of around 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 23. Watch Duty, a service that monitors wildfires, said there was an "immediate structure threat" as of shortly after 2 p.m.
