A three-vehicle crash in Coachella injured three people, including one who was airlifted to a trauma center with serious injuries, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The crash was reported around 6:18 p.m. Monday, July 27 at Van Buren Street and Avenue 53.
A helicopter transported one person with serious injuries to a trauma center. Paramedics took two others by ambulance, one with moderate injuries and the other with minor injuries.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. The agency did not immediately respond to a request for comment Monday evening.
