Palm Springs High School on lockdown; nature of threat unclear

Springs High School was on lockdown on Wednesday, Sept. 9, as police investigate a possible threat on campus.

The Palm Springs Unified School District said about noon that students and staff were safe while the school followed its safety procedures during law enforcement's investigation. It did not provide further details, including what the possible threat was.
