Is Florida Georgia Line really doing this again? Performing at the Stagecoach Country Music Festival, that is? A video posted on the festival's Instagram page on Thursday, Sept. 10, hints that the reunited duo, featuring Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley, are indeed on their way.
The video shows Hubbard and Kelley getting into a pickup truck that has a cooler in the flatbed, displaying the illuminated festival logo of a cowboy riding a horse.
As they enter the cab, archival footage of Florida Georgia Line's past appearances at the festival plays. Kelley asks Hubbard, "Are we really doing this again?" Hubbard nods and replies, "Looks like it, bro." The video concludes with the message, "FGL LFG," the latter acronym short for "Let's (expletive) go."
Florida Georgia Line has an impressive history with Stagecoach. In 2013, the duo made their debut at the festival, opening the Mane Stage on Day 3. The following year, they returned to perform on the Mane Stage again, this time before headliner Luke Bryan on Day 3. They went on to headline Day 1 in 2018.
When is Stagecoach 2027?
The lineup for the festival, which is returning for its 19th year on April 23 to 25, 2027, at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, had not yet been released as of Friday morning, Sept. 11. Traditionally, it releases in the fall.
Florida Georiga Line reunited at CMA Fest in June
In 2022, Florida Georgia Line announced their indefinite hiatus. According to previous Tennessean reporting, Florida Georgia Line didn't break up due to internal tension. Rather, the duo split due to contrasting visions of the group's future.
Kelley believed a route could be achieved where he and Hubbard released solo music while continuing Florida Georgia Line. Hubbard disagreed with that vision, saying he struggled with the idea of pursuing both at the same time. Hubbard described the group's split as a "divorce," in an episode of Bussin' With The Boys.
But in June, Kelly and Hubbard reunited on stage at CMA Fest in Nashville on night one. Following the grand entrance, both Kelley and Hubbard shared a few words and then simultaneously shouted out, "We Back Baby," then broke out into their massive hit, "Cruise."
Ahead of the festival, Florida Georgia Line teased their performance earlier that week when a billboard saying "FGL. LFG" appeared in midtown Nashville.
