Is your stomach grumbling? Well, you're in luck: the Taste of Summer Rancho Mirage is back with mouthwatering deals from local restaurants to chew on.
The annual spotlight on local eateries takes place daily July 23 through Aug. 16. Grab a $10 wristband — proceeds benefit more than 40 Coachella Valley nonprofits — and a host of sweet specials, from juicy barbecue and three-course dinners to cold treats, will be at your fingertips.
Just some of the participating restaurants include: Aspen Mills Bakery & Cafe, Brandini Toffee, Burgers and Beer, Catalan Mediterranean Restaurant, Cheers Coffee, Desert Pearl, Dickey's Barbecue Pit, Foxy's Kitchen & Bar, Mykonos Modern Greek Mediterranean, Si Bon and Yard House.
Nonprofits that will benefit include:
Alzheimers Coachella Valley, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Coachella Valley Rescue Mission, Desert Cancer Foundation, Friends of the Desert Mountains, Green Room Theatre Company Coachella Valley, Loving All Animals, Palm Springs Youth Football and Cheerleaders, Rancho Mirage Public Library Foundation, Safe Schools Desert Cities and the YMCA of the Desert.
In order to receive discounts and deals at participating restaurants, each person needs to have their own wristband. They can be purchased online, at the Rancho Mirage Chamber of Commerce office or at any of the participating nonprofit organizations.
