Modernism Week — October attendees got to enjoy one of the valley's most stylish restaurants while indulging in Palm Springs' famous architecture on Thursday, Oct. 15.
One of the new events offered for Modernism Week — October is the Fall Dining Series that spotlights a number of local eateries that have a mid-century modern feel to them, and each spot features a special curated menu. The restaurants participating include the stylish and contemporary Eight4Nine Restaurant & Lounge, Americana-style diner King’s Highway and Mediterranean-inspired lounge and restaurant Bar Issi.
Bar Issi opened its doors in 2025 to offer a menu full of sea (shrimp linguine, branzino and salmon), land (lamb chop and prime ribeye) and other thoughtful dishes. It's
also one of the most eye-catching properties in the desert with loud, colorful decorations on all sides, much of which takes inspirations from the posh Sicilian resort that was the setting for the second season of "The White Lotus."
Check out our recap video of the event. Modernism Week October continues through Sunday, Oct. 18.
