A person is in critical condition after a shooting in a Brunswick County city.
On Sept. 12 at 7:30 p.m., officers with the Boiling Spring Lakes Police Department responded to reports of a disturbance at BSL Storage Solutions, located in the 3500 block of George II Highway.
Upon arrival, officers located one individual who had sustained a gunshot wound, according to a Facebook post from the Boiling Spring Lakes Police Department. The individual was transported for medical treatment and is currently listed in critical condition.
A suspect has been detained in connection with the incident.
The Boiling Spring Lakes Police Department believes it is an isolated incident and there is no ongoing threat to the community.

investigation.
